Following you will find a list of all buttons contained in the Toolbar Buttons extension. You may also want to view the descriptions of each button.
All Applications
- Add-ons
- Firefox 2 replacement for both the Extension and Theme buttons. Opens the Add-ons window to perform tasks on your installed extensions or themes or to add new ones.
- Console
- Open the error console to view errors caused by scripts.
- Customize Toolbar
- Open the customize toolbar window to add or remove items from your toolbar.
- DOMi
- Open the DOM (Document Object Model) Inspector to view and manipulate the DOM tree.

Edit Menu
- Show the edit menu.
- Exit
- This button not only closes the current window, but every one that the current application may have open. It is a lot quicker than finding all windows and closing them one at a time.
- Extensions
- Open the Extensions Manager to install, uninstall or do any other needed tasks to any of your extensions. Only works in Firefox 1.5. Firefox 2 users should use the Add-ons Button.

File Menu
- Show the file menu.
- Import
- Import settings and data from another application.
- Install
- Install an extension or theme file you have downloaded and stored on your hard drive.
- Minimize
- Minimize the current window.
- Options
- Opens the Options window so you can change settings easily.
- Page Setup
- Define margins, orientation, and set up how the page is printed.
- Profile
- View your profile folder to find files (such as you bookmarks) to back them up.
- Redo
- Redo the late change.
- Reload Proxy
- Reload the currently in use proxy.
- Restart
- Restart the current application after installing a new extension, theme or plug-in.
- Select All
- Select all the text in the current text box, web page, etc.
- Status Bar
- Toggle the status bar from hidden to shown. Hide it to get the most out of your screen space, and show it when it
- Themes
- Open the themes manager to change you theme or install a new one. Only works in Firefox 1.5, Firefox 2 users should use the add-ons button.

- Toggles the Proxy between on and off for quick changing of networks.

- Open about:config to change hidden settings that cannot be edited from the Options window.
- Change Dictionary
- Change the currently in use Dictionary to a different one with a simple drop down menu.
- Change Text Direction
- Change the text direction from left to right or right to left.
- Delete
- Delete the selected text.
- Enlarge
- Enlarge the text size on sites that makes the text so small you can.
- Extensions
- Open addons.mozilla.org on the page to get more Thunderbird extension. Link can be change using about:config if you prefer another site.
- Find
- Open the find bar to find a word in the current page.
- Find Again
- Find the next bit of text that matches your search.
- Find Previous
- Find the previous bit of text that matches your search.
- Help
- Open the application help documentation.
- Print Preview
- Open the Print Preview to view a page before printing it.
- Reduce
- Reduce the text size if you have made it a bit too big.
- Reset
- Reset Text Size to Default setting.
- Save
- Save the currently open document, or image to a file.
- Source
- View the pages source code so you can steal all those nice ideas.
- Themes

- Toggle Work Offline and Work Online.

- Open the about Firefox window. Useful for checking exactly what version you have installed.
- about:cache
- Open about:cache to view cached documents or images.
- about:cache Disk
- Open about:cache Disk to view cached documents or images saved to your hard drive.
- about:cache Memory
- Open about:cache Memory to view cached documents or images in Memory.
- about:plugins
- Open about:plugins to view installed plug-ins.
- Animation
- Stop annoying animated GIF's, and some blinking or scrolling text.
- Bookmark All
- Bookmark all the currently open tabs.
- Bookmark Manager
- Open the bookmark manager to edit, deleted or tidy up your bookmarks.
- Bookmark Menu
- The Bookmark Menu made with an icon, uses less toolbar space and looks much nicer.
- Bookmark Page
- Bookmark the current page. This should really be one of the default buttons in Firefox since it must be clicked a million times.

- Go to the very bottom of the current page.

- Open a page of your choice from a toolbar button. You can set the link from the options window.
- Flash
- Stop Flash from annoying you.
- Full Screen
- Toggle the window to full screen mode, so you can view as much of the current page as possible.
- Gmail
- Open Gmail to read your new message. Link can be set in about:config.
- Open the Google home page. The link can be changed using about:config.
- Hide Images
- Hide all image in the currently open web page.
- Hide Url
- Clear the URL bar so no one can see the addresses of the currently opened pages.
- Hotmail
- Open the Hotmail home page to view you mail.
- iframes
- Stop iframes from loading and the ads they often contain
- Link Setting
- Change the setting that controls how other applications or JavaScript open new windows. Buttons icons indicate what setting is in use.
- Minimum Font Size
- Set a minimum font size that web sites can use. Prevents a web site using a font that is smaller than what you are able to read.
- Movies
- Stop movies from loading.
- New Message
- Open Thunderbird compose window to write a new email.
- Next Tab
- Change the currently focused tab to the next one.
- Open
- Open a file stored on your local hard drive. Can be used to install extensions or themes.
- Page Colours
- Toggles between using the default colors (that tend to be easily readable) and the colors set by the web pages author
- Page Fonts
- Toggle between the use of the fonts used by the site and those that are set as the default.
- Page Info
- Open the Page Info window to find out extra information about the current web page.
- PayPal
- Go to the PayPal web site.
- Previous Tab
- Change the currently focused tab to the one before the one you a viewing now.
- Quick Bookmark
- Bookmark the current page with out that allowing popup asking where you want it put, The top level bookmark folder is fine thanks!
- Read Mail
- Launch your default Email program from within Firefox.
- Read News
- Launch your default News program from within Firefox.
- Reload Skip Cache
- Reload page without using content stored in the browser cache to make sure you get any updates.
- Reload Tabs
- Reload all open tabs.
- Remove Label
- Remove the label and icon from the current tab.
- Remove Labels
- Remove the labels from all of the currently open tabs.
- Rename Tab
- Rename the Currently Selected Tab.
- Restart Tabbed
- Restart Firefox with the current tabs still open.
- Save Frame
- Save a frame form the current document.

- Tiny Url
- Create a tiny URL using Xrl.in and copies it to the URL bar.
- Toggle Cookies
- Turn Cookies on and off.
- Toggle embedded content
- Stop movies, Flash, Java or any other plug-ins from loading their content.
- Toggle Images
- Enable or disabled if images load or not. This option can also be changed in the.
- Toggle Java
- Toggle Java between enabled and disabled.
- Toggle JavaScript
- Enable or disable JavaScript. Means you keep keep it disabled most of the time and only turn it back on when you really need it.
- Toggle Styles
- Add/Remove web sites' defined styles and uses the defaults.
- Toggle Toolbar
- Toggle the navigation toolbar from showing to hidden. Don't place it on the navigation toolbar.
- Toolbar Bookmark Menu
- Show the contents of the Bookmarks Toolbar in a drop down menu.
- Top
- Scroll the page to the very top.
- Translate
- Translate current page to your preferred language using the Google Translation service.
- Undo Close Tab
- Reopen the last closed tab. Really nice when a tab is closed by mistake, or you decided you did not really want to close it moments too late.
- Up Directory
- Go up one directory. This effectively removes ever non forward slash character after the last one.
- Web Search
- Search the web with your default Search Engine. Only useful if you don't have the search bar visiable.
- Wikipedia
- Open Wikipedia home page to find and edit articles. about:congif can be used to edit what page this open at.
- Yahoo Mail
- Open the Yahoo Mail page to check your email.

- Open the about Thunderbird window. Useful for checking exactly what version you have installed.
- Account Settings
- Open Account Settings in Thunderbird.
- Account Setup
- Run Account Wizard to set up a new account in Thunderbird.
- Add Email
- Add a new email address to the address book.
- All Threads
- View all the threads in the current folder, not just unread or some other sub set.
- Compact
- Compact all Folders; removes redundant information left from deleted messages.
- Copy
- Copy the currently selected text.
- Copy Email
- Copy the email address of the currently open email the the clip board.
- Create Filter
- Create a message filter from the currently selected message.
- Cut
- Cut selected text from a text box, and put it in clip board.
- Delete Attachments
- Delete Attachments from and email.
- Delete Junk
- Empty the junk email folder of all junk email.
- Detach Attachments
- Detach Attachments from an email.
- Edit Draft
- Edit a message that you have saved as a draft.
