Key board short cuts are no quicker or easier to do. I still have to write the extensions for the new API. I have half worked out how do do the page colours button in theory, I just have to write it.

Have I helped you? Do you like my add-ons?

If you manage to make the button again to change the colors is better, I thought that with the new update of firefox was impossible to do it again. If you fix the button again, it's perfect, I'm going to look foward to it. As always thank you very much.

The Print Edit button is very useful. I miss being able to use it to fix printing from websites and Thunderbird. Lots easier than copy/paste to Word, Open Office, etc. editing then printing. It would help to have this one updated. Thanks.

Ok was really busy for a few days. I got a new computer finally (Office Works only took a month to get around to delivering it...) and I became a Deacon. But I got a few new things done today. I uploaded a number of tab related buttons including: Close All Tabs, Close Other Tabs, Reload all Tabs, Tab List and Undo Close Tab. They will soon appear on amo.

Have I helped you? Do you like my add-ons?

Hi Michael,
Decided to continue conversation here instead of AMO.
https://addons.mozilla.org/ru/firefox/addon/undo-close-tab-button/reviews/913337/
Q: The menu is actually just a html document and styling that right???
A: Yes they are, just checked them via Browser Toolbox, so it shouldn't a big problem with that.
Regarding Saved logins button.
I bit sad that the limitations are so wast. One last desperate question.
Is it possible to make a button that just opens a regular FF tab/pop-up with that particular Saved password URL? It this way it could serve as one click access(don't want to use bookmarks) that manager?

No styling HTML elements to look like native ui-controls in a way that works cross plantform is difficult. I might be able to get closer, but it is not going to match. If you think you can do it would love to see the code.
The current style looks fine on my old Linux computer, but not on my new Mac. I don't have a Windows computer to compare with.

The problem is without access to the saved login system if someone where to make such an extension they would have to build their own secure storage. Not something I have time or am willing to invest int. I recommend you look at some extension like LastPass, that is a full solution for this kind of thing.

Hi here is my try of styling. I've used latest Nightly on a Win10 PC to replicate FF styling. Unfortunately I dont have any other OS's at my disposal.
Maybe you find it useful.

I used this HTML template as an example

    <div class="group" id="tabs">
        <div class="button"><img src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAABAAAAAQCAYAAAAf8/9hAAAAf0lEQVQ4jaWS7QnAIAxE3wiO4kiO4CZ1BDeqm9gN2j+WBj8w2oMDIckjp0IrB+Ri16lPdVdelhfDfgdgBcBqBhLt2iOfPYB2eHgnvwEJCOUcdwBSRgGwfC/ldgDS+Y1wLESQvlgc6EaoG2KJYgYbNZo1LAOCqAUNoP7KSVkD4AH6NI7AX4Ii0wAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==" alt=""/>ALabel1</div>
        <div class="button"><img src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAABAAAAAQCAYAAAAf8/9hAAAAf0lEQVQ4jaWS7QnAIAxE3wiO4kiO4CZ1BDeqm9gN2j+WBj8w2oMDIckjp0IrB+Ri16lPdVdelhfDfgdgBcBqBhLt2iOfPYB2eHgnvwEJCOUcdwBSRgGwfC/ldgDS+Y1wLESQvlgc6EaoG2KJYgYbNZo1LAOCqAUNoP7KSVkD4AH6NI7AX4Ii0wAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==" alt="">ALabel2</div>
    </div>
    <div class="group">
        <hr>
        <div class="button message" id="restore-all">__MSG_undoCloseTabRestoreAll__</div>
    </div>

And here is CSS portion

.group {padding:6px 0 0 0;}
.button {
    border-radius: 0;
    border-width: 0;
    margin: 0;
    padding: 4px 12px;
    background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);
    border:0px solid rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);
}
.button img {padding:0 8px 0 0;}
.button:hover {
    background-color: rgba(204, 204, 204, 0.3);
    border: 0px solid rgba(24, 26, 27, 0.14);
    border-radius: 0px;
}
hr {
    margin: 0 0 6px 0;
    border-bottom:1px solid #dedede;
}

Oh, forgot to mention that my CSS code isn't standalone (it is based on your current style), it requires your current CSS file to work properly.

Good day. :)
First of all thank you for a great job!

I have a question: can you create a button to toggle option "Use system colors" in SeaMonkey? View image: http://wstaw.org/m/2017/09/03/system_colors.png

And second thing: in "install.rdf" file "maxVersion" of SeaMonkey is set to 2.39. And what about newer versions?

I'm sorry for my English and I greet you.

@Acid_Crash. I will check out your code when I have a moment. I am not sure it will work though cross platform.

@Wojtek. Your English is better than my Polish! And I lived there for a year and work with Polish people (one of who is called Wojtek). The extension you might be after is this one https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/page-colors-fonts-buttons/. It should work with newer versions of SeaMonkey just I have not had time to test recently.

I just discovered that Firefox has decided not to allow me to use my beloved toolbar buttons. I did not realize just how important they were to me until they were taken away. I've read through the thread and have reinstalled the Reopen Closed Tab, Print Preview, and Top/Bottom buttons. I tried to install the Find Button, but it is not showing up in my toolbar or as an option to add. I would love to have that back as I use it constantly. I think the only other one I need right now is Clear URL. I know you have a lot going on, but if you could update those, I would appreciate it. There might be more - I don't think my office computer has updated Firefox yet, so I will check it for more. But for now, these would be great:

Find Button
Clear URL

Thank you so much!!

Thank you for the quick reply.

The "Page Colors" button changes the "When a web page provides its own colors and background" option, does not perform the "Use system colors" option.
Image: http://wstaw.org/m/2017/09/03/page_colours.png

To protect my eyes, I changed the background color of the system windows from white to gray. However, on some web pages some interface elements are invisible. Then I have to disable the "Use system colors" option.

Watch the video how the "Use system colors" option works, and how the "Page Colors" button works:

@Sharon sorry those buttons are no longer possible at this time.

@Wojtek I see I did not understand properly what you were referring to. I am not planing on creating anything new at this time. It is enough trying to update what I already have.

@Wojtek, try this addon https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/page-shadow/ to dim the pages. I have been using it for awhile now and find it takes care of that bright white pages problem for my very sensitive to light eyes. It has a right-click option to disable it for a specific page or site making it easy to use. I really can't speak highly enough of it for how it has enabled me to use the computer without getting a migraine.

Also, to Michael. A big giant Thank You for the work you have put in over the years making the toolbars.
