After installation of the newest v1.0pre version of Minimize-to-Tray-Enhanced I can minimize both Thunderbird and Firefox to Systray.

There is however only a context menu for Thunderbird in the SysTray. When I right click on the systray icon of Thunderbird then I can find a "close" menu. This is not a case for Firefox.

When I really want to close Firefox (v3.5) I have to reopen the window from Systray again and select the menu
File-> Exit

Why is there no systray context menu for Firefox?

Is this an issue of Firefox or Minimize-To-Tray-Enhancer?

Thank you
Peter

It is an issue that appeared in Firefox 3.5. I have posted a bug about it at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=502457

The problem is it stopped letting me open popups that don't in someway overlap the window they come from. I am looking at possible work around. Part of the reason I have not released it yet.

Have I helped you? Do you like my add-ons?

This is what I came here to ask. Hope it goes well, and thanks for taking this over.

In the latest release this should work http://codefisher.org/minimizetotray/

There are a few minor issues with the extension, but you may not even notice them.
