Hello Michael, since the Quantum update of Firefox there is no extension with the function "Minimize to Tray". Is it possible that you update your extension that this goes with the current Firefox version again?

In addition, of course, a signing by Mozilla would be quite helpful.

Me and certainly many others would be very happy, Greetings Sebastian.

I think in theory such an extension might still be possible, but it would be a lot of work, and I am not planing to attempt it in the near future.

Have I helped you? Do you like my add-ons?
Would you consider donating to show your appreciation for my efforts?

HI i believe that

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/panic-button/?src=ss

is the app you need. has 3 functions

Features:

• Make Panic Button work for you by choosing one of the following actions:

Hide and Replace (the default option -- hides all browser windows and replaces them with a browser window displaying a web page at a specific URL; click on the Panic Button again after danger has passed to restore the browser session),

Minimize All Windows (slowest option – but all windows can be restored), or

Close All Windows (close all windows and quit Firefox, if there are no other open windows such as bookmark manager).

but you can only use one as you can't have multiple instances of the app in your fire fox.
you can configure which ever action you want it to do in the options.

Covers some of the use cases, but not exactly the same thing.
