Xrl.in - Tiny URls

Xrl.in is a free service that will transform any link no matter how long into one that is short and easily manageable. Short enough to ovoid the age old problem of links breaking in emails.

Extension

For xrl.in I have devoloped an extension that you can download. It places a button up between the url box and the go button. This button when click change the url to the short xrl.in version. There is also a drop-down for emailing the link or copying it.

Bookmarklet

Below is a link that can be used as a bookmark that when clicked will create a shortened link for the current page you are at. To add this link to your bookmarks click the link with the right mouse button and select from the drop down Bookmark This Link..., Add to Favorites or similar text.
