Who am I

I am Michael Buckley. I was born in 1989, so that makes me 18 right now. Many different people know me for many different things ranging from my faith (Catholic), that I take very seriously; to Judo, which I enjoy doing. However, if you have found this page, you are most likely interested in my computer interests.

In early 2005, I got my own computer. Before that my computer knowledge was only nominal. Natural inquisitiveness caused a lot of problems, and I ended up formatting a few times. I learned a heap out of it. The most important thing was that computers are best left to look after themselves. The more you try and change things, the more they break.

It was in late 2005 that I found a program called Firefox 1.0.7 that look kind of interesting. I tried it for a few weeks, but it was not until I used IE on another computer that I found how much I really liked it. I installed Thunderbird a few days later.

It was also around this time that I started looking for an extension that would give me a toolbar button to create a bookmark. Then I started trying to piece together a web site, though I had no idea what I was going to put on it. By June, Toolbar Buttons and the associated web site had been born. Though it was not until the very end of 2006 that codefisher.org came into existence.

Since then, I have gone on to create many other extensions and design many other web sites.
